Privacy policy
This is how ContentHive handles your personal information. We've written it in plain English because that's how we do everything else. ContentHive is a trading name of LeadHiveAU (ABN [FILL IN ABN]), based in Melbourne, Australia. We're bound by the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth) and the Australian Privacy Principles.
What we collect
- Details you give us through the enquiry form or booking calendar: your name, business name, trade, suburb, phone number, email address and anything you write in the message box.
- Notes from our calls with you. Discovery calls may be recorded and transcribed so we can build your brand plan properly. We'll tell you at the start of the call, and you can say no.
- If you become a client: footage, photos and other content captured on your job sites under the client agreement, plus the business information needed to run the partnership.
- Basic technical information when you use this website, such as browser type and pages visited, if analytics are enabled.
Why we collect it
- To respond to your enquiry and book a call.
- To deliver the content partnership if you sign up.
- To improve the service and this website.
- To meet our legal obligations.
Who we share it with
We don't sell your information. Full stop.
We share it only with the service providers we need to run the business, such as email, website hosting, call scheduling, cloud storage and the publishing tools we use to schedule your posts. Some of those providers store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We choose providers with proper security and only share what's needed.
How we keep it safe
We take reasonable steps to protect your information from misuse, loss and unauthorised access, and we keep it only as long as we need it for the purposes above or as the law requires.
Marketing
If you enquire with us, we may follow up about the partnership. We comply with the Spam Act 2003 (Cth): every marketing email identifies us, includes a way to contact us, and includes a working unsubscribe. Reply 'no thanks' to any email and we'll stop.
Cookies
This site uses only the cookies needed for it to work. We don't run advertising trackers. If we add analytics, it will be a privacy-respecting tool and this policy will be updated.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Call 0450 925 145 or use the contact details on this site. If you're not happy with how we handle a complaint, you can contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version goes up here with a new date at the top.
